UNWANTED HAND VEINS

Unwanted hand veins are located on the back of the hands and represent mainly a cosmetic nuisance. The same above mentioned ambulatory phlebectomy or hook removal of the veins is used for these types of veins as a strictly office procedure similarly performed under local anesthesia. There is minimal inconvenience (swelling) for 1-3 weeks, so far, however, operated patients have not had to skip work. The results are very good and long lasting. Some physicians have injected these veins, however the results were as expected short lived. This procedure is indicated especially in women who hate the fact that these ugly veins can give away their seniority. Since wrinkles on the face or additional fat anywhere on the body can be easily treated, finally there is a permanent solution for these unwanted hand veins.
